A peek inside…
Oralase Session
Nursing problems may arise from a structural tissue restriction such as a tongue tie or lip tie, but not always. Birth may have been difficult, and as a result tension in the body, compression of nerves, or cranial bone misalignment could be manifesting as trouble nursing.
Many babies just need a gentle release and reintegration of their bodies after experiencing the birthing process.
Some babies look restricted yet function normally. Other children look normal yet struggle with acceptable function.
By optimizing function through BabyLase first, we can treat conservatively, avoiding surgery if possible.
The specific sequence and wavelength of invisible light used in BabyLase allows tight and damaged tissues to relax by increasing circulation and reducing the restrictions specifically related to the fascial layer of the body.

Osteopathy with Dr. Sylvia Silberman DO
Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is a gentle hands-on evaluation and treatment of the body: Palpating and attuning to the restrictions and traumas within the different layers of the body that have blocked neurological and physiological function.
The body has an innate capacity to heal. Restoring its integrity allows for its full and vibrant expression of health and function.
Osteopathic physicians dedicated to this work spend years learning and treating outside of the conventional path of medical education and practice. They achieve health and balance by diving further into the magnificent landscape of the body to address the root cause of dysfunction.

CFT Session with Janice
Janice Guarini, Certified Postpartum Doula with Craniosacral Fascial Therapy /CFT training and a Sleep Coach
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy/CFT techniques are designed to gently unwind and release accumulated fascial strain. This allows optimal mobility and better brain function. When the Cranial Fascial System is loose and open there is a free flow of cerebrospinal fluid to help nourish and cleanse toxins. Unhindered movement of the brain, spinal cord, and the fascial web is necessary for the well-being of all newborns, children and adults.
Janice has been caring for newborns, infants, toddlers and adolescent children for over 10 years with CFT. Tongue/Oral Ties, Colic, Reflux, Torticollis, Speech, Sleep Disturbance are just a few difficulties overcome with the support of CFT.
Janice is also the founder of REST Renew Sleep Time, sleep consulting for babies and their families.
Take Home Material
Our optimal goal is to empower moms to trust their intuition with their babies and to trust that with the proper guidance, our bodies are so powerful and beautiful, and they have the innate power to heal themselves.
As a guide for holistic health for your baby’s coming months and years, we will also provide resources for optimal holistic oral hygiene, exercises for brain development, tips to promote jaw growth, home remedies for common ailments, and more.
Evaluation and Guidance from Kelsey Baker, Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Certified Lactation Counselor
Kelsey works with babies on feeding, development, and empowering families to best support their little ones in a holistic and functional way. She provides an evaluation and treatment for babies with TOTs (tethered oral tissues), plagiocephaly, torticollis, feeding difficulties, and general developmental quality concerns. She also helps coach families in nervous system regulation and specific body movements for optimal growth and development.

Oral Evaluation
Dr. Joanna will evaluate your baby’s palate, position of the mandible, and check for any restrictions (oral ties). By checking for these anatomical variations early on, we can promote optimal cranio-facial development, helping children grow up to be healthy and beautiful, with straight teeth as an added bonus.
After the initial evaluation session and follow-up, we may recommend additional bodywork, reflex integration, oral function guidance, and/or developmental jaw growth guidance.
This collaborative effort is to get your baby off to a great start on this journey of life.
Initial treatment includes Oralase, CFT, Osteopathic manipulation, and an OT session
A two week follow-up visit is included with each provider that includes treatment and re-evaluation.
We highly encourage for both mom and baby to get treatment.
Treatment cost
Nurturing the Fourth Trimester for mom and baby: $2,400
Only baby: $1,250
✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
If Momma is not happy, nobody is happy. Although in our society we tend to focus on baby after birth, mom needs to be cared for and nurtured so she is in the best state to listen to her intuition and what her baby needs.
-
There are multiple reasons why babies have trouble breastfeeding. A tongue release is not always the answer. We aim to provide a minimally invasive methodology and try to resolve all the other potential reasons for latch or feeding issues before performing a surgical release.
-
The success of the surgical release will be much improved by doing body work, reflex integration, fascial stretch, and oralase treatments first. It makes the release much easier for your baby since the remaining “tie” will be superficial.
-
If you already see an OT, CFT, or osteopath and you would like to see only certain providers, please reach out to us directly to let us know. Each provider on this team has a specific purpose and niche background that makes this program so unique and successful.
-
No. Primitive reflexes may be retained into toddler or adolescent years and beyond, causing learning disabilities, speech problems, feeding issues and beyond. Also, if certain nerves are compressed from birth or other traumatic injuries, function will not be optimal. The fascial system can also hold strains from compensations or other traumas. If any of these pertain to your child, he/she may still benefit from this program at any age.
